Man formally charged in child-stealing case
DES MOINES, Iowa -- An Urbandale man was formally charged with child stealing in an Amber Alert case.
Iowa City police arrested 29-year-old Joshua Moore April 22 after he didn't return home with his girlfriend's 3-year-old son.
Moore and the child were found at Coral Ridge Mall, 45 minutes after an Amber Alert was issued.
I love the way this law has affected us... it's become a national rallying-point, a way of empowering those of us in the cheap seats to actually have a part in catching the scums who prey on our young.
