This being the week run-up to Mother's Day, I have been on the receiving end of several home-made cards and tributes. I just got one, on orange construction paper (sorry Uncle Randy! I'll do better and remove the orange from the stack next time), folded. "To Mom" is written on the front.

I asked him to read it back to me, and he faltered at the "MuM."
"Just ignore that and pretend it says 'much,'" he said.
Yesterday I got one (on green paper) with a declaration that I am "popyler" and "the coolist in the house."
Heh.
