Camera tossing

Ever tried camera tossing? It's when you position your camera in front of a light source of some kind (in this particular case, my Christmas tree) and over something soft like a pillow or a couch, then when you push the shutter button, you also spin or toss the camera gently. The resulting photographs can be quite interesting. Just make sure that the camera isn't going to land somewhere where it might break. Also, it's usually much easier and safer to use a little point-and-shoot digital rather than a nice DSLR. I wouldn't dream of doing this with the Nikon D80, not even with a much lighter and smaller lens than I have on it.
