A cow... a windmill... a typical Texas winter scene
Bleak, icy barbed wire fence... bleak, icy grazing pasture
A field of young winter wheat, and a whole bunch of geese
and assorted other birds making a snack of it
Huh? Llamas? No, it isn't what you typically see driving
the back highways here, but I couldn't resist
stopping by the side of the road and snapping a quick pic.
The roads weren't really impassable at all in the late morning while I was out gathering up groceries and gew-gaws to interest the children. It was a bit raw, though... not especially conducive to trudging through frozen grass to take a picture of some cows, but I'll sacrifice personal comfort to get just the shot I want.
