Meet Taylor. Her full name is Taylor 314-CE Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar. She's just become the newest member of FCC's worship team, a la Jeff. Up to now, he's been playing on a really pretty black Takamine, but after a spate of broken strings during worship, we all came to realize the wisdom of having a second guitar as an instant backup. But, of course, I'm thinking Taylor will be on the first-team...
Taylor came to our rehearsal last night. She has an incredibly lovely voice. The low range is rich and full, the midtones are sweet, and the upper range is bright and clear. She made me wish I could go out and buy myself a nice quality keyboard... of course, there's no place to put one in this cramped little house, so I'll just satisfy myself with spending time at church playing theirs with headphones.
