Oh, wow

I was browsing the NYT's photos from New York Fashion Week and the Fall 2010 Balmain show caught my eye. Actually, most of the collection didn't excite me THAT much, but this outfit? I want to wear it TOMORROW:



Just gorgeous.

Balenciaga's collection was quite interesting... very futuristic and funky-retro at the same time... but nothing I felt like blogging. But when I saw the Balmain ensemble above, I nearly fell out of my chair. That doesn't often happen.

I WANT THIS. Obviously I won't GET this exact outfit, but by next fall I'm going to own something that approximates this look.
