TOTALLY WICKED!!!!

BlogDog sent me a link the other day to a site that I absolutely love -- love so much that I added it to my sidebar blogroll -- and she had dyed eggs in a freaky cool way. So I had to try it, of course.

Here are the shells after I peeled the eggs. I thought they were really pretty, too.

Here's how to do it. First, you hard-boil the eggs, then you crack them carefully so that the shells don't come off.

Prepare coffee mugs with cold water and gel food coloring (the kind you use to decorate cake frosting). Put the cracked eggs in the mugs and leave them in the fridge overnight.

That's it. Aren't they kewl?

I will probably slice them and use them for funky deviled eggs.

As seen over at Barefoot Kitchen Witch.
