I have found a quiet little treasure lurking on our DishNetwork, called OVATION TV. It's just terrific. I may start recording some of these programs for my class, although I think the vast majority of my students wouldn't have the first clue what any of these programs MEAN.
But I sure enjoy them. Tonight's double-header was a Claes Oldenburg program followed by one about Chuck Close.
Totally, totally cool. I watch these guys and I *get* what they did, and I find myself itching to pick up my paintbrush and say what I feel.
