Scenes from the neighborhood

There are two water-towers in North Ruralville. This one's the older one, but I think it's definitely got more character than the newer one.

One of the friendlier locals.

Grape hyacinths have popped up all over the place. I'm fond of these little tiny bulbs; they're just such a lovely deep blue and they make such nice blue patches in people's green yards. Some think they're weeds. What do they know? Only mean people would dislike such a delightful little bloom.

Forsythias are just about finished... I almost waited too late to capture some. The sky is so clear and bright today, too. It was nice to be outdoors.

The Farmers & Merchants Bank building on the square in downtown Pilot Point (or, as we North Ruralvilleans affectionately call it, "PP").
