This was a view of some construction work along Highway 380 between McKinney and Denton... and a splendid sunset.

The sound of trains is a constant companion here in North Ruralville. It's comforting, in an odd way... the sound of the world going on about its business. We hear the familiar chords about once or twice an hour, 24 hours a day.


Here's the Old North Ruralville Water Tower. There's a newer, bigger one on the other side of the railroad tracks now, and it has a big Pirate face on it (that's our school mascot).
