We went to La Madeleine for an early supper. She had a French Dip [french accent] But of course! [/french accent] and I had a shrimp Florentine crepe. I thought it was so pretty, I had to take a picture of it.
I'm so glad she lives in the DFW met-ro-plex; I look forward to seeing her more often.
At the table behind us were three people, all speaking very Continental-sounding French. It's not something you hear every day in this area, and it was like listening to music. I'm pretty sure they weren't locals! But it made the "La Madeleine" experience so very authentic, dontcha know.
