Rainy days & Mondays...

Typical bleak autumn day in Des Moines. But I'm in my classroom already, and I can forget for just a wee little while that I live here.

Some trick-or-treaters tried to strong-arm James Lileks into voting for Kerry. By the way, dear SarahK, Mr. Regrettable Food doesn't like the new Butterfinger any more than you did.

Rick Leventhal (one of my FOXNews heroes) speaks out about the missing weapons. He has the coolest hat.

And Frank J. of IMAO has a new installment of his continuing series, "In My World." Frank J. also has a cool hat.

On trick-or-treat night, my best friend's Bush-Cheney sign got ripped off its stakes, and the wire left over was mangled. Hey, you know what really stinks about this whole election? If Bush wins, all the leftist moonbats can just move to Europe and be happy (and I wish they would). If Kerry ekes this out, we conservatives have nowhere left to go. C'mon, people, this is life-or-death here.

Heh, did you notice how the trick or treaters flipped flopped on the voting issue?

That's very Kerry. :)
