Any Soldier...

One of my classes isn't a special-education class. It's something like a "homeroom", but we call it "Seminar". Some of the seminars have adopted a second-grade classroom, but I think that my seminar will adopt a soldier instead. I visited Any Soldier and it is so hard to choose from all the contacts on the list! I think, though that we'll send things to a unit that's in Uzbekistan which goes down into Afghanistan on humanitarian missions. This one's got about 20 women and 5 men, and they're staying until next July. A bunch of them are wives & moms, and although my seminar is pretty equally divided between girls and boys, it's the girls who are the most engaged and I think they'll be enthusiastic about sending stuff to these ladies.
